Projects

Research into a system of standards, measures and best practices resulting in a possible certification for the screen-based industry has been in development since 2004 and continues to be updated and improved.

GreenReel and Jacques Whitford assisted the newly formed Green Screen Toronto Initiative in defining and developing its project scope. Our work (suggestion of a baseline analysis and screen-based industry certification development) assisted the Initiative in obtaining funding from the Ontario Media Development Corporation.

GreenReel provided sustainability consulting services to the Toronto Pomegranate Film Festival held September 28-30, 2007. Green accomplishments included the establishment of a comprehensive waste management program that now benefits the host school. Click here for a full list of accomplishments.

Other projects and clients that Ani has worked for include: the Walkerton Water Inquiry; Pollution Probe; the International Joint Commission; the Ontario Metis and Aboriginal Association; the Ontario Ministry of the Environment; the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-term Care; the Ontario Ministry of Research and Innovation; the Ontario Securities Commission; the Ontario Ministry of Economic Development and Trade; Environment Canada; Health Canada; Osgoode Hall Law School; the Mackenzie Gas Project; the Health Professions Regulatory Advisory Council; and, the Canadian Partnership Against Cancer.

A number of projects are in development. Please check back for details.
